LinearPilot

Your Privacy Choices

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This is the one place to see and change what happens to your personal information at LinearPilot. Some of it you can change yourself in seconds; the rest we handle when you ask.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is no advertising network on this site and no third-party tag. We do not process sensitive personal information to infer anything about you.

What we do measure, and how to stop it

We count how often a page or a button is used, using an identifier we set ourselves. Those events go to our own servers and stop there. You can keep it off three ways, and any one of them is enough: decline in the cookie banner, send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, or simply be somewhere that requires consent first — visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are excluded unless they accept. If the identifier was already set when you decline or your browser starts sending the signal, we delete it.

Choices you can change yourself

These take effect immediately and you do not need to ask us:

AI processing

Whether your content may be sent to an external AI provider. This is per person and starts off — until you grant it, we withhold the provider entirely. In the product, open AI Studio and go to Data & privacy.

Marketing email

Whether we may email you about the product beyond what your account needs. Change it in your account settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any such email.

The cookie banner

Your choice there is recorded and honoured. Clearing this site's data in your browser makes the banner ask again.

Your browser

Every major browser can block or delete cookies for a single site. Blocking ours stops you staying signed in and resets your language on each visit.

Requests we handle for you

Ask for any of these and we will carry it out:

The right to know
The categories of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, who we disclosed it to, and the specific pieces themselves.
A portable copy
Your data in a structured, machine-readable format you can take elsewhere. Account holders can generate this from within the product.
Correction
Fix anything we hold about you that is wrong or incomplete.
Erasure
We anonymise your personal details rather than deleting the rows that carry them: your email and name are replaced with redacted values, linked sign-in identities and your profile picture are removed, and your account is deactivated. We keep the rows so that records other people still rely on — an invoice, an audit trail — do not silently break. When a whole company account closes, we destroy that company's encryption key, which makes its encrypted data permanently unreadable.
A record of processing
The log of what we did with your data and on what legal basis.

Rights that have nothing to act on here

Some privacy laws give you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and to limit how sensitive personal information is used. We list them so you know they are not being quietly skipped: because we do not sell, do not share for advertising, and do not process sensitive information to infer anything, those rights have nothing to act on. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

How to send a request

Email us from the address on your account and tell us what you want. Include:

  • The email address your LinearPilot account uses
  • Which of the requests above you are making
  • The state or country you live in, if you are relying on a specific law

We have to know it is you before we act, so we check what you send against what we already hold. We only ask for more when that fails, we use anything extra for nothing but the check, and we discard it afterwards.

If someone is acting for you

An authorised agent can submit on your behalf. Send us written proof that you authorised them; we may also confirm directly with you before we act.

How long we take

We confirm we received your request within 10 business days, and we answer it within 45 calendar days. If a request genuinely needs longer, we will take one further 45 days and tell you before the first period is up, along with the reason.

If you disagree with our answer

Reply to our decision and say you are appealing. A different person reviews it and we respond within 45 days. If you are still unsatisfied, you can raise it with your state attorney general, or with your data protection authority if you are in the EEA or the UK.

No penalty for asking

Exercising any of these rights does not change your price, your plan, or the service you get.
